Homeschool Workshop Club
DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Homeschool Workshop Club is where our community comes together each week to learn, create, explore and connect.
More than just a weekly activity, Workshop Club is a place where children discover new interests, children and parents build genuine friendships, and homeschool families experience the support of a thriving village.
Each workshop explores a different topic and every session is designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and meaningful learning while naturally supporting homeschool outcomes.

COMMUNITY LED
One of the things that makes Workshop Club so special is that we create it together.
Every homeschooling family has something unique to share or simply lending a helping hand behind the scenes. Every contribution helps make Workshop Club the welcoming and enriching community it is.
Our Homeschool Adventures Club team continues to provide:
- Our beautiful workshop venue
- Workshop materials and resources
- Planning support and guidance
- Behind-the-scenes organisation and administration
- Community communication
- Ongoing support throughout the term
Together with our families, we create a Workshop Club that is engaging, sustainable and filled with a wonderful variety of learning experiences.
COMMUNITY COMMITMENT
COMMUNITY COMMITMENT
Workshop Club is built on the idea that many hands make light work. To help keep our workshops affordable and sustainable, each family is asked to contribute in one of the following ways each term:
⭐ Facilitate - one workshop: Share a skill, hobby or passion by leading one workshop during the term.
OR
🫶🏽 Assist - at two workshops: Support one of our facilitators by helping with activities, materials and set up.
OR
🌿 Parent Helper - at three workshops: Perfect for families who prefer to help behind the scenes.
Tasks may include:
- Arriving early to set up and staying afterwards to pack away
- Preparing workshop materials
- Printing and organising resources
- Other behind-the-scenes jobs that help each workshop run
There is a role for everyone and we'll support you in finding one that suits your confidence, skills and season of life.
Workshop Planning Zoom Meeting
Before each term begins, all Workshop Club families are required to attend our Workshop Planning Zoom Meeting.
Together we'll:
- Brainstorm workshop ideas
- Share our skills and passions
- Finalise the workshop calendar for the term ahead
- Allocate facilitator, assistant and helper roles
- Ensure everyone feels supported and prepared
By planning together from the beginning, everyone knows their role for the term and we can create an exciting workshop program that reflects the amazing talents within our community.
If you have children under 5 years in our little adventures, you are not required to lead a playgroup, as you have already supported our Workshop Club.
